If you're a Maths Subject Leader (who wants to develop the explicit teaching of number bonds across your school) or a Year 1 or Year 2 teacher, this CPD session is perfect for you. 

We'll help you understand how to build strong number relationships, improve fluency and rapid recall, and support application of number bonds in context.

You'll leave with a consistent 3-week approach to teaching each number bond which you can use in your classroom or across your school from the very next day. 

Last year, this approach was tried and tested in school. It was highly complemented by Ofsted for developing rapid recall. 

The session accompanies our 23-page guidance to support you with implementation. This document walks you through a complete 3-week sequence for the teaching of a number bond. It can easily be used and adapted by teachers. 

The guidance can be found on our website and we recommend you have a copy of this to refer to during the training.
